Step 2: Create your scarecrow! Please follow the guidelines listed below.
Step 3: Install your scarecrow in the Garden from September 27-30. We will assign your spot when you arrive and install your custom sign.
Step 4: Attend our kick-off night!
Step 5: Visit with your scarecrow! To ensure that your scarecrow stays intact for the entirety of the installation, you will be given 10 daily admission passes to the Garden. You can pick up these tickets during drop-off.
Step 6: Share your scarecrow on social media and tag us!
Step 7: Encourage your friends and family to visit the Garden, enjoy the installation, and vote for your scarecrow!
Step 8: Attend the awards event!
Step 9: Pick up your scarecrow from November 1-3.

Guidelines:
Your scarecrow must be weather-proof and sturdy enough to last the entirety of the month-long installation period.
Your scarecrow must be able to be carried to its spot in the Garden.
Your scarecrow must be attached to a stake.
Your scarecrow must be suitable for viewing by children.
The Botanical Garden of the Ozarks has the right to refuse entries deemed inappropriate.
The Botanical Garden of the Ozarks has the right to remove any scarecrow not maintained or that has deteriorated to an unacceptable level.
The Botanical Garden of the Ozarks is not responsible for loss or damage.

$25 Amateur: individuals, families, schools, and non-profit organizations
$50 Professional: individual or team who wants to showcase their professional art, design, or craft work
$100 Business: for-profit businesses in Northwest Arkansas
